The fire plate as an insert for the kettle grill is made of 4mm fine-grained steel and is the perfect introduction to the world of fire plates.
Place the grill plate on the existing supports of the grill grate and start grilling, the flames blaze out in the middle and on the ring the steaks are given a wonderful crust. You get the typical smoky flavour without the fire caused by fat dripping down under the meat and turning it black.
The fire plate gets a curvature when it is first burnt in, which makes it unique and ensures that fat runs off, giving the grilled food a perfect crust without stewing in its own juices. The central hole is 20cm on all fire plates and can be fitted with our various inserts.
For smaller grills, the fire plate can also be placed on the grill with our spacers.
